Ashlee Brotzell accidentally became a crochet designer while searching for some me-time in motherhood. The excitement of combining her art, crochet, and technical skills into a business that can support her family continues to be a dream-come-true.

As a busy, homeschooling mom in rural Saskatchewan Canada, it’s important to find that balance between making something that’s worth the effort and not getting overwhelmed with the tricky details. Ashlee’s favorite colorwork techniques are interlocking crochet and overlay mosaic crochet because they don’t involve complicated crochet stitches, but they produce stunning results! 

Since self-publishing her first pattern in April 2020 she’s been in Crochet Now magazine twice and has created over 300 colorwork patterns! Ashlee wants to kindly support your ability to create something beautiful using her well-written patterns (with charts), along with photo and video tutorials.
