Balancing sophisticated knit and purl combinations with sections featuring all kinds of different knitting stitches, such as cables, bobbles, slipped stitches and more, the Falling into Stitches Blanket is designed intentionally to build up your skills and confidence from one section to the next.

Here is exactly what you'll be making:
🧶 The Falling into Stitches Blanket comes in 2 sizes:
- Throw size: approximately 127 cm / 50” wide by 160 cm / 60” long
- Lapghan size: approximately 102 cm / 40” wide by 135 cm / 50” long
🧶 The blanket is made out of 12 different strip patterns worked on top of eachother (no joining or sewing here!) and the border is worked at the same time as the strips.
🧶 The pattern for each section comes with written instructions and a video tutorial. In addition, some sections also come with chart instructions where relevant.
🧶 Designed in 3 main colors plus a neutral contrast color, the blanket can easily be worked up in just one or up to 13 colors. Making it a great scrap buster project.
🧶 The knit-along blanket is designed for adventurous beginner level knitters looking to challenge themselves to move past basic knit and purls.
Each section is separated with a simple contrast color divider section to add uniformity and a give the blanket a modern look.
The blanket is designed with chunky weight (category 5) wool yarn

What materials do I need?
The blanket is designed in Chunky weight (5) WeCrochet Wool of the Andes Bulky yarn and 6.5 mm / US 10.5 knitting needles.

I just started knitting last week, is this for me?
The Falling into Stitches Blanket Knit-along was designed with adventurous beginners in mind, whether you've been knitting here and there for years or you just picked up needles for the first time a few weeks ago, you'll learn A TON during the knit-along.
As long as you know how to cast on and the knit and purl stitch I'd love to have you join us!
I've been knitting for a long time, should I join?
So have many others!
You'll probably already know a lot of the techniques shared during the knit-along but with so many knitters sharing their tips and tricks I would be very surprised you don't learn anything new. And you've probably not knitted all the blanket stitches and combinations of the blanket.
Plus, even if you're such an expert that you're not learning anything new, you will still have knitted a gorgeous fall throw.
How long will I have access to the patterns and videos?
Once you purchase the Journey Pass you keep ongoing access to all it's content.
You will need to activated your Stitching Squad 30 day trial by the end of the live KAL on November 29th.
How do the live Sip & Stitch Parties work?
Sip & Stitch parties are happening every Tuesday of the knit-along at 11am ET / 5pm CET Sip & Stitches and will last for an hour each, giving us time to get a few stitches in, virtually share a snack & drinks and chat about the knit-along and everything knitting!
Depening on the number of participants we'll join a Zoom call and be sorted into smaller rooms where we can chat with each other, make connections, and have some fun!
Rooms will switch at least once throughout the hour to make sure you get to meet & catch up with a good mix of people.
