You're ready to move beyond knitting the same old blanket pattern and knit wearables like hats, socks and garments

But creating pieces you'll actually wear, takes a whole lot more than picking up some random yarn and knitting needles.

You've tried following knitting patterns, following a size and maybe even be doing a swatch.

But... when you cast off, your item doesn't look like the pattern pictures and it ends up in the back of your closet never to be worn.

RIGHT NOW YOU FIND YOURSELF ...

Frustrated not knowing how to get started and make a plan for your knit hat, sock or sweater. What yarn and needles do I need for it to come out right? What size do I need to make (and how do I follow that size)?

Scared to commit to a wearable item. You've made a few small projects and you want to take the plunge but What if you get it wrong and you wasted so much knitting time?

Spending more time frogging than actually knitting because you can't figure out the charts and abbreviations in your pattern instructions.

Panicked at the idea of assembling your garment. Knitting the pieces is one thing, assembling them into a sweater that doesn't look like Frankenstein is a whole other story.

Discouraged after making a beautiful sweater, it came out all right, just like the pattern pictures, but it doesn't look or feel right on you, so you'll never wear it.

Overwhelmed by all the talk about gauge, tension, ease and blocking. What do they mean and what do I need to do with this info to finally be able to knit hats, socks and garments I actually want to wear?

There has got to be a better way!

MEET YOUR HOST

Hey! I'm Hortense

My mom taught me to knit, one summer when I was bored on the beach at age 10. From there my love (some would say obsession) of yarn was born and I never stopped stitching.

A few years ago I started to dig into the online world of yarn and discovered so many techniques, constructions and concepts I had never heard about before.

Slowly I started to move away from following patterns until 2018 when I finally launched my blog Knitting with Chopsticks where I share my easy knitting & crochet patterns.

My goal is to break down knitting and crochet so they become simple enough for you to create exactly what you want, the way you want it through my patterns, blog, ebooks, courses, the Stitching Squad and summits.

And making your first wearables like hats, socks and sweaters you'll actually want to wear is the perfect place to start!

HERE'S WHAT OUR LIVE ATTENDEES HAD TO SAY

BUY THE KNIT YOUR WARDROBE: FROM HEAD TO TOES SERIES

You don't need more stitch tutorials and patterns, you can find these in just a few clicks on Youtube and Pinterest.

But what you can't get that easily is the knowledge and know-how to make projects you'll actually wear that usually only comes with time and experience.

The Knit Your Wardrobe Summit is all about giving you the skills, knowledge and our expertise, so you can make your dream wearables like socks, hats, sweaters and more and wear them proudly.

We won't be able to show you how to execute each stitch, each construction and each technique that exists for wearables, but my hope is to give you a plan of how to make your choices, enough general garment knowledge and an overview of what exists, so you can tackle your first wearable with confidence and Google any specific stitch or technique you'd need.

The Knit Your Wardrobe Summit was created specifically for knitters like you who love knitting and want to knit their own wardrobe.

You just need a little help to take the plunge to cast on your first hat, socks or sweater and know how to ensure it turns into one you'll wear because it fits, it looks good on you and it makes sense with their existing wardrobe habits.

YOU'VE GOT QUESTIONS? I'VE GOT YOU COVERED

What materials do I need?

You don't need any specific materials to follow the classes.

In most of the classes, the designer will share her knowledge and expertise to help you make the best choices and plan your knit wearables. Therefore, I'd recommend a pen and paper to write down any ideas you have while watching the classes.

For the more hands-on classes teaching a specific skill or technique, I recommend having some worsted weight yarn (preferably in a lighter color) and 4 or 5 mm / US 6 or 8 knitting needles on hand to try out any new technique / skill during the class.

How long will I have access to the presentations?

Once you purchase the Knit Your Wardrobe: From Head to Toes Series, you keep access to all the presentations and lesson materials forever (aka as long as I'm alive and run my business)

How long is each lesson?

Each class is 20 to 25 minutes.

I just started knitting last week, is this for me?

The Knit Your Wardrobe: From Head to Toes Series was designed with less experienced knitters in mind, whether you've been knitting here and there for years or if you just picked up needles for the first time a few days ago, you'll learn A TON about knitting wearables during the summit.

As long as you know how to cast on and work some basic stitches (stockinette and garter stitch for example), you'll learn a lot!

I've been knitting for a long time, should I join?

So have many of the designers!

You'll probably already know a lot of what's being shared during the summit as it has been planned with less experienced knitters in mind, but I would be very surprised you didn't learn anything. I know I did when I organized the live event!

Many attendees also reported knitting for 30-40+ years and still learned a lot from the workshops and speaker panels

When will I get access to everything

You get access to all the materials instantly upon purchase. You'll get your login details in an email so you can access the member area and enjoy all the videos and lesson notes.

I've attended the 2025 Knit Your Wardrobe Summit, is this different?

The Knit Your Wardrobe: From Head to Toes Series is a collection of workshops and replays based on the Knit Your Wardrobe Summit 2025. If you purchased the All-Access Pass or Superpack at the time, you will already have access to all this content.

Do you offer refunds?

I still have questions!
