Passionate knitter, crocheter and hoarder of yarn

It all started on a beach when I was 10. My mom handed me a pair of knitting needles, and I've been stitching ever since.

What began as a simple summer distraction turned into a lifelong love (some would call it an obsession) with yarn.

Over time, I stopped following other people's instructions and started writing my own.

In 2018, I launched Knitting with Chopsticks to share the kind of patterns I wished I'd had: simple, satisfying, and designed to grow your confidence with every stitch.

Fast forward to today, and I left a successful career in engineering to help makers like you inside the Stitching Squad.

What happens if I decide to cancel my membership?

I just started crochet/knitting last week, is this for me?

New crafter are very welcome in the Stitching Squad! However, please note this is not a complete beginner experience, because I do'nt include absolute basic knitting and crochet stitches in the membership. I'm always happy to point you to great Youtube tutorials and help you troubleshoot along the way.

I've been crocheting/knitting for a long time, should I join?

Many Squad Members are seasoned crafters!

You'll probably already know a lot of what's being shared in the workshops as they are planned with less experienced crafters in mind, but I would be very surprised if you didn't learn anything new.

The Squad also gives you access to new pattern drops each month, and guided learning pathways to keep you progressing and motivated.

What if I don't use Ravelry? Will I still get the pattern downloads each month?

Sure! Just send me an email with the patterns you want each month and I'll make sure you get them.

How long will I get this membership price? Will the price ever change?

The membership price will most likely increase as the content library grows, but once you sign up, you lock in the current price for the entire duration of your membership (as long as your account is in good standing). However, if you cancel your membership and rejoin in the future, you’ll be charged the current price at the time you rejoin.

When are the live workshops?

Usually, our LIVE workshops take place on Wednesdays at 10am ET, but the days and times of workshops can vary depending on speaker availability. We aim to pick a time that works for most people, and the replay will be available in your member area shortly after the LIVE session so you can catch up in your own time and space. Make sure you pre-submit any questions so we can answer them LIVE.
