The Tidal Textures Blanket comes in 2 sizes:
- Throw size: approximately 135 cm / 53” wide by 160 cm / 63” long
- Lapghan size: approximately 110 cm / 43.25” wide by 137 cm / 54” long
The blanket is made out of 6 different strip patterns worked on top of eachother (no joining or sewing here!) and the border is then worked in the round around the blanket.
Designed in 3 main colors plus a neutral contrast color, the blanket can easily be worked up in just one or up to 7 colors. Making it a great scrap buster project.
Each section is separated with a simple contrast color divider section to add uniformity and a give the blanket a modern look.
The blanket is designed with worsted weight (category 4) wool blend yarn

The blanket is designed in worsted weight (4) Rosarios Amor-Perfeito (50% wool, 50% acrylic, 100g/3.5oz, 120m/131yd) and 6 mm / US J-10 crochet hook.

I just started crochet last week, is this for me?
The Tidal Textures Throw Crochet-Along was designed with adventurous beginners in mind, whether you've been crocheting here and there for years or you just picked up a hook for the first time a few weeks ago, you'll learn A TON during the crochet-along.
As long as you know how to chain and make the single or double crochet stitch, I'd love to have you join us!
I've been crocheting for a long time, should I join?
So have many others!
You'll probably already know a lot of the techniques shared during the crochet-along but with so many crocheters sharing their tips and tricks I would be very surprised you don't learn anything new. And you've probably not crocheted all the blanket stitches and combinations of the blanket.
Plus, even if you're such an expert that you're not learning anything new, you will still have crocheted a gorgeous sei-inspired throw.
How long will I have access to the patterns and videos?
Once you purchase the Journey Pass you keep ongoing access to all it's content.
You will need to activate your Stitching Squad 30 day trial by the end of the live CAL on March 5th.
How do the live Sip & Stitch Parties work?
Sip & Stitch parties are happening every other Tuesday of the crochet-along at 1pm ET / 7pm CET and will last for an hour each, giving us time to get a few stitches in, virtually share a snack & drinks and chat about the crochet-along and everything crochet!
Depening on the number of participants we'll join a Zoom call and be sorted into smaller rooms where we can chat with each other, make connections, and have some fun!
Rooms will switch at least once throughout the hour to make sure you get to meet & catch up with a good mix of people.
